The eyes are farther apart on a Khaoran so while they may have binocular peripheral vision, they may actually have a blind spot facing forward, and may have to routinely swivel their heads to scan forward and get a complete picture. While human can see fine straight ahead, but have to swivel their heads to see blindspots on their sides.
Human ears likely are less likely to hear distant sounds due to the way our ears gather auditory sensory data. Human hunters will cup their ears to get the same information, while Khaorans likely can discern this naturally, and it might be they are less likely to be surprised as they may hear someone approach before seeing them.
Linguistically, they may have developed rituals where they speak at a further distance that humans do as a result of this biological difference.

In human beings, the maturation of the frontal lobe coupled with the insulating effects of oligodendrocytes to axons prevents short circuiting, and these two factors lead to delayed maturation in teens.
What if the frontal lobes mature faster due to larger mass so their young teens are more disciplined and prone to following historical traditions and parenting, thus while they still may act rashly due to delayed oligodendrocyte insulation, just like us, they actually are younger soldiers? Maybe they are soldiers at 14 not 18?
